Ms. Sudawan Kumar @ Sandy is a counseling psychologist, holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Assumption University, Thailand. She is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and a Certified Coach and facilitator for individuals in addiction and families with addicted loved ones. She received training in providing mental health counseling & workshops to corporate employees under professionals providing the Employee Assistance Program.
She received training in Alcohol & Substance Abuse from a licensed American substance abuse specialist. She was trained in counseling and Social & Emotional skills training for children with developmental delays from age 6-17 yrs. under a licensed Child & Adolescent Psychologist from Australia and Italy. She also works with orphanage children and single mothers living in institutionalized environments.
Her areas of counseling approach & experiences include: an eclectic approach, which means using one or more or in a combination of ways to approach an issue. She provides individual counseling to adolescents and adults from various backgrounds and age groups. She experienced in working with Stress, anxiety & depression, trauma (PTSD) & Grief, RAD (Reactive attachment disorder), Workplace stress, Client with HIV & Substance Abuse, Chem Sex & Gambling addiction, LGBT: Gender identity & Confusion, and Sexual Orientation.
